Problem with 2FA codes in emails from mail.bg – what to do?!
We are increasingly receiving reports from users who use email addresses with the mail.bg domain that they are experiencing difficulties receiving two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.
This means that the code is either delayed or does not arrive at all, which can prevent login or confirmation of actions.
It is important to know that this issue does not come from the platform itself, but is most often related to how emails are handled by the provider.
What you can do
There are two simple ways to avoid this issue:
1. Change your email address
We strongly recommend using an email from a reliable provider like Gmail, which ensures faster and more secure delivery of codes and messages.
Some email services (such as mail.bg) may experience delivery issues – delays or failure to receive security codes. This can lead to problems when logging in or confirming actions on the platform.
Additionally, other providers like ABV have specific limitations and policies that create additional risks and difficulties when used with platforms like ours. You can read more about this here:

This is why email addresses with the abv.bg domain are not supported on Altcoins.bg.
To change your email in Altcoins.bg:
- Send us an email request for the change
- Specify the new email address you want to use

2. Use Google Authenticator
We highly recommend switching to a two-factor authentication app such as Google Authenticator.
This solution is:
- faster
- more secure
- independent from email providers
Once activated, codes will be generated directly on your device and will not depend on email delivery.
