Altcoins.bg holiday schedule and important information regarding the transition to the euro

This year, the final days before the holidays are a bit different than usual. Alongside the Christmas and New Year holidays, we are also transitioning to the euro. This will put additional pressure on payment systems, and there may be delays or returned transfers if you leave buying or selling for the last moment.
To help you avoid any inconvenience, below you will find up-to-date information about how Altcoins.bg and fiat payment channels will operate during this period.
Altcoins.bg operates 24/7/365
Our platform is fully automated and remains available around the clock, including during the holidays.
Crypto deposits and withdrawals are automated and will continue to operate without interruption.
Please note that fiat channels depend on the schedules of the payment institutions that process them.
Our team will be on duty during the holidays as well, but responses may take a bit longer if we are sitting at the festive table :) We are human too, after all.
Payments in Bulgarian Lev (BGN)
- Bank transfer for business accounts:
- Acceptance of BGN payments will be suspended after 26.12
- Cashterminal:
- BGN payments will be processed as usual until the end of the year.
- After 01.01, amounts must be submitted in EUR.
- EasyPay:
- BGN payments will be accepted until 22:00 on 31.12.
- From 00:30 on 01.01, the system switches to EUR.
- Bank transfer for individual accounts:
- BGN transactions will be processed until 12:00 on 30.12.
Payments in Euro (EUR)
For EUR, everything remains as usual, but please keep the holiday processing timelines in mind:
- Bank transfer for business accounts:
- EUR transfers will be processed until 12:00 on 30.12.
- Transfers submitted after this time will be processed on 05.01.
- Cashterminal:
- EUR payments will be available at operating locations, according to their working hours.
- EasyPay:
- Duty offices will operate during the holidays.
- We recommend checking the working hours of your nearest office in advance.
- Bank transfer for individual accounts:
- EUR transactions will be processed until 12:00 on 30.12.
- Transfers after this time will be processed on 05.01.
Recommendation: do not wait until the last moment
Our automated systems will continue operating during the holidays, but fiat transfers will be processed according to the schedules of the payment institutions.
If you want to avoid delays, plan your purchase or sale in advance.
During the holidays, you can also use crypto-to-crypto exchanges, which do not depend on banks or payment institutions.
