Altcoins.bg is a platform for exchanging Bulgarian leva (BGN) or Euro (EUR) to cryptocurrencies and vice versa. Imagine us as a digital currency exchange bureau, where you swap your BGN or Euro for crypto, or sell crypto to receive BGN or Euro.

- This means we do not store your cryptocurrencies, money, or savings. You stay in control of your funds at all times, which is the safest approach for minimizing risk.

How Does Altcoins.bg Work?

If you want to buy crypto, simply place an order through your account, choose your preferred payment method, and enter the crypto wallet address where you want to receive your coins.

Once we receive your BGN/EUR payment, we purchase the requested amount of crypto and send it to the wallet you provided. That’s it — simple and secure!

If you want to sell crypto, you don’t need to send it to us in advance. In fact, your funds never sit on our platform, which greatly reduces the risk to you.

To receive the BGN/EUR equivalent of your crypto:

- Create a sell order via your profile.

- Choose your preferred payout method.

- Complete the order.

Our system will generate a crypto wallet address where you must send the specified amount of cryptocurrency. You can send it from any external wallet, exchange, or storage service.

Once your transaction is received, we process the order, update its status, and you’ll receive an email confirming its completion — meaning your payment has been initiated. Done!

Is Altcoins.bg a Crypto Exchange?

No. Technically, no Bitcoin-related website in Bulgaria is a true exchange. In order to qualify as one, a platform must operate a matching engine that pairs and executes client orders against one another.

Altcoins.bg, like most Bulgarian platforms, functions as an exchange bureau. Every order is processed using liquidity sourced from major international exchanges. This allows us to fulfill large and multiple orders simultaneously, even though we don’t operate our own order-book.
